Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929, to a Jewish family in Frankfurt, Germany. Anne's full name as Anneliese Marie Frank. Her father's name was Auto Heinrich Frank. He was an accomplished businessman. Her mother's name is Edith. Anne's older sister's name is Margot. Margot was very calm, obedient, intelligent and beautiful. At the time of Anne's birth, the Frank family lived in a rented two-story house at 306 Marbachweg in the Dornbusch area of ​​Frankfurt. The family moved to Ganghoferstrasse No. 24 in 1931. The region was inhabited by liberal and amateur people. Both houses are now preserved as Anne's memorial.

After the victory of Hitler's Nazi Party in Germany in 1933, Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany. At this time Auto Frank moved to Amsterdam to work for a company. The name of the company was Apexa Workshop. In February 1934, the Frank family reunited in the Netherlands. After arriving in the Netherlands, Margot enrolled in public school and Anne Montessori school. They also made some friends in this school. When Anne's two uncles moved to the United States in 1939, Anne's grandmother began living with them. When the Germans occupied the Netherlands in May 1940, Auto Frank tried to move to the United States. But his attempt was not successful.

June 12, 1942, was Anne's 13th birthday. On this day Annie received a red and white diary as a gift from her parents. She also received many more gifts. Her friends also gave him various gifts that day. This birthday was spent with her enough joy. After receiving the diary, she decided to start writing in this diary. She thought that she could write all her thoughts in this diary without any hesitation. In this way, from June 20, 1942, she started writing her diary. She used to call her diary 'Kitty'. The Frank family was quite interested in studying.

Anne's father and mother both encouraged girls to read. Anne and her sister were both gifted and intelligent enough to study. Anne's intelligence and fluent writing made her diary a must-read. After coming to Holland, various restrictions were imposed on the Jews at that time. There were certain shops for Jewish shopping. From there they had to shop within the stipulated time. They could not get on any other vehicle except the boat. Even theatres, movies, tennis courts, swimming pools were all forbidden to them. Schools for Jews were also specific. Only Jews studied here. Anne Frank and her sister attended a Jewish school.

Among them, Jews were taken in groups to concentration camps. The Frank family then hide in an abandoned part of an office. Although they had been preparing for hiding for some time. But when the summons came, they were forced to hide in a hurry. This time they spread false news that they had gone to Switzerland. Another family and the dentist started living in the same secret dormitory with them. A total of 6 people hide in the house at the same time.

Anne's father's business owner and a few employees secretly helped them with various matters. There was a bookcase at the entrance to their secret dormitory so that it could not be understood from the outside. Her diary became Anne's companion in this captivity of terror. She used to record various daily incidents in this diary. The fear of being caught in every moment haunted them. We had to speak in whispers, not even the lights so that it was not clear from the outside that anyone was inside.

In her diary, Anne Frank describes the loneliness and despair of captive life. The various characteristics of the people hiding in the house, their relationship with them, etc. are also highlighted in each chapter of her diary. Her feelings for her mother, her relationship with her sister, her dependence and love for her father, and even her characteristics are revealed in her writings. Along with that, various changes in the mind of the teenager, love, attitude towards boys, awareness about one's appearance, etc. have come to light. Again, the environment around her, her attitude towards war, her humanity, etc. are found in her writings. In this diary, she has recorded her future dreams and plans.

But she could not realize her dream. Anne wrote her diary for the last time on August 1, 1944. On August 4, 1944, they were captured by Hitler's forces. Hitler's forces found out about their secret hideout through a spy. After being captured, they were sent to Westerbork in the southern Netherlands.

The father is taken separately and the mother and daughters are sent elsewhere. The mother and daughter were taken to Auschwitz, Poland. From there Anne Frank and her sister were taken to Bergen-Belsen. Unspeakable oppression, in a dirty environment, in a state of hunger and disease, they eventually fall into the lap of death. In February or March 1945, the "all-time blabbering" girl became silent. They were then dumped with a pile of corpses. In July 1945, the Red Cross confirmed the deaths of Anne and her sister.

Shortly after Anne's death, Hitler defeated, and the Jews were released. But all but Anne Frank's father, Auto Frank, died in the brutal torture. After his release, he returned to Amsterdam. Here Miep Gies, the Austrian secretary of his company, handed him Anne Frank's diary and some papers. He collected them from Anne Frank's desk and kept them for himself when Hitler's troops took them away from their hideouts. It was first published in Dutch in 1948 as Rear Annex.

At first, American publishers were not interested in publishing it. But later in 1952 it was published as The Diary of a Young Girl and gained immense popularity. Anne Frank wanted to do something so that everyone would remember her even after her death. This diary, published after her death, has made her forever remembered in world literature as a talented writer.

The book has been translated into more than 70 languages ​​and is one of the best-selling books in the world. Many plays and movies have been made with this book. Anne Frank's hiding place has now been turned into a museum. Anne Frank's home has been opened to the public. There is a school in Amsterdam named after her. The Madame Tussauds Wax Museum has a statue of Anne Frank. The meteorite that was discovered in 1942 was named '5535 Anifrank'. A school named after her was opened in Frankfurt in 1998.
