Russian writer Leo Tolstoy's famous novel ‘Anna Karenina’ this novel was consistently published in “The Russian Messenger” from 1873 to 1877. This novel the story of love and depicts Russia's rising politics, religious beliefs and culture. The story begins with Prince Stepan Oblonski, who is known as Stiva and his wife, Dolly. They are struggling in their marriage. Dolly, because of knowing the love relationship of Oblonsky with the housemaid. And that's why he wants separation.

Meanwhile, Oblonsky's sister Anna Karenina is going to visit their home. Anna is a powerful government official of St. Petersburg. Anna Karenina is very popular in Russia's high society, because of her taste and use. Anna was able to convince Dolly and Oblonski's house survived for now. Two friends of Oblonsky, Levin and Vronsky. Anna was seen with Levin on one party. Shortly afterwards, he left Moscow and moved to St. Petersburg. Vronsky's meeting with Anna on the train journey. Vronsky is an army officer. Suddenly there was a relation between Anna and Vronsky. But Anna said that it is not possible to accept this proposal.

Yet, after all, Karenin refused to officially divorce Anna. Vronsky's mother proposed to marry Princess Sorokin to Vronsky. The quarrel continued to grow in Anna and Vronsky. At one time, she became mentally upset. She left Vronsky and went to the Dolly. But nobody can easily accept Anna there.

Anna became more alone, mentally upset and moved away from her known environment. The story ends.

About Leo Tolstoy

The full name is Count Lev Nicolovitch Tolstoy, but he is known to everyone as Leo Tolstoy. He was born on September 9, 1828 (on 28 August, accordingly). A Russian writer is equally respected as one of the best novelists in world history. Tolstoy was born into an aristocratic Russian family. His famous novels include War and Peace (1869), Anna Karenina (1877). These two novels are considered to be the best example of realism.

Tolstoy's writing begins at the age of 20. At that time, three of his autobiographical writings established him as a writer. The three children of this trilogy are 'Childhood', 'Boyhood' and 'Youth'. Books were published between 185 to 1856. His other autobiographical novel ‘Sevastopol Sketches’ was published in 1855. He wrote about the novel of the Crimean War.

He also wrote short stories, novels. Tolstoy died on November 20, 1910 (accordingly on 7 November).
