Chinua Achebe full name is Albert Chinualumogu Achebe. He was born on November 16, in 1930 - died March 21, in 2013. He is a Nigerian novelist and father of modern African literature. For his English first novel “Things Fall Apart” he won the Man Booker International Award in 2007.
Chinua was living in the United States since the car accident in 1990. Then he did not write any book for more than 20 years. He spent most of his subsequent years teaching at the Brown University of the United States. In his service life, he started working in Nigeria's broadcast service. His writings began as a university student.
As a writer, Chinua Achebe worked as a bridge between Africa and Western society. Her work has been evaluated by the standards of African writers for generations.
