People joined the Liberation Army. Later in 1976, he started writing. In the 1980s, some influential writers appeared in Chinese literature. Yu Hua, Su Tong and Mo Yan are among them. In the folklore, he used the bizarre element in the combination of magic-rhetoric and highlighted the greedy and corruption of communist-ruled society. Despite the constant initiation of the ideals, people's mind does not eliminate greed and corrupted, as the main theme comes in the writing of Mo Yan. His fame is remarkable legendary. He is also well-versed with the readers from general readers. American educationist and politician Jim Leish calls him the Kafka of China. Lis also compares him to American fiction writer Joseph Heller.

Since Mo Yan is primarily painting social status, one of the pioneers of modern Chinese literature has influenced Lou June in his writings.
